I began my career as a copywriter, writer/producer and creative director at Kansas City and Omaha advertising agencies. I was on the agency side for about ten years, all told. I served a wide variety of clients, across a number of different industries, and garnered a decent amount of recognition for my work: broadcast and print advertising, sales promotion, direct mail marketing, email marketing . . . and a lot of new product launches.

Ten Years on the Corporate Side

Then I served for ten years as a brand management and marketing communications professional with a Fortune 500 enterprise. With extensive resources at my disposal, I had the opportunity to dive even deeper into digital marketing, websites, landing pages, email marketing, sales support programs, internal communications, merger and acquisition communications and social media.

Today, I provide freelance copywriting to a host of different companies, from entrepreneurial start-ups to members of the Fortune 500, who call on me for fresh messaging that is exactly on target.
